A vehicle has crashed this morning on the corner of 15^th Ave and Cameron Rd and the driver has fled the scene.

Police attempted to stop a vehicle due to its manner of driving at the intersection of 15th Avenue and Cameron Rd on Saturday morning.

The car then crashed into a wall at the intersection, about 9am.

'It was a minor crash,” says a Police spokesperson. 'The driver decamped from the vehicle and fled on foot.”

A passing driver reported to SunLive that a dog handler car was parked further up the road and that Police were present at the scene.

Police continue to make enquiries to locate the offender.
