Stuff the Bus is back again for 2019 and gives locals a chance to show their generosity by stuffing the MoreFm bus with gifts for local charities.

Stuff the Bus is an annual Christmas appeal run by MoreFM and this year, the bus will be parking up outside 10 local businesses around the region in the lead up to Tauranga's Christmas in the Park.

'We park the bus outside each of these businesses for people to come and donate non-perishable food, clothing, or presents,” says promotion co-ordinator Brad Hemingway.

Over the next few days, you'll find the bus at the Pak'nSave at Tauranga Crossing on November 23, at the Papamoa Christmas Parade on November 24, at the Tauranga Christmas Parade on November 30 and loads more places in the lead up to Tauranga's Christmas in the Park on December 7.

Brad says the charities they will be dropping everything off to is; Greerton Primary, Te Manutoa, Kai Aroha, Homes of Hope, Tauranga Women's Refuge, Shakti Women's Refuge, Good Neighbour Trust, and Tauranga Foodbank.

This year, Brad says even though they had gotten a bigger bus, it is fuller than this time last year.

'I can't even imagine what it's going to look like by the end of it.”
