An assault in Ohauiti on Saturday night has led to an arrest.

Police were called about 8.35pm following a report of an assault at an Ohauiti Rd address.

'One person was reported to have a serious injury,” says a Police spokesperson.

'A young person was arrested in relation to this incident and will appear in the Youth Court tomorrow.”

Police are continuing to make enquiries into the circumstances of the incident.
