Emergency services are responding to an incident at the Port of Tauranga.

SunLive has had reports of multiple emergency services responding to the port this evening.

A SunLive photographer at the scene says an ambulance left from the Hull Road entrance under lights and sirens.

He says multiple Police units and a Work Safe vehicle were also in attendance and Fire and Emergency Service have left the scene.

A Fire and Emergency New Zealand northern fire communications spokesperson says they were assisting ambulance at a job.
