UPDATED 8.54PM: Police are appealing for any information about a grey vehicle seen in the Bethlehem area following a robbery tonight.

A robbery took place at the store on State Highway 2 at 8.30pm.

"Enquiries are under way to identify and locate the person/s responsible," says a police spokesperson.

"Police would like to hear from anyone who saw a grey vehicle in the area around the time of the robbery."

Anyone with information can contact police by either using the 105 non-emergency number or calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 line.

EARLIER:

Police have been spotted outside Four Square in Bethlehem tonight.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says multiple police units are parked outside the shop on State Highway 2.

"The shop doors are closed and police are speaking with people inside."

Another person is reporting that is it a possible robbery, but nothing has been confirmed by police at this stage.
