An explosion in the Waikato has left one person with critical injuries.
Emergency services were called to an address on Russell Avenue in Te Aroha around 2pm on Tuesday.
A police spokesperson says one person was flown to Middlemore Hospital in a critical condition following an explosion.
Police are investigating the exact cause of the explosion.
