Our wonderful government is making much noise about legalising marijuana use. The same government is hell bent on making NZ smoke-free by 2025! One just could not make this up!

Research has shown that marijuana is incredibly addictive, and leads to the use of other drugs which are readily available to those who desire to experiment with them.

Scientific research has shown that smoking cigarettes is far more likely to result in lung cancer than smoking cigars or a pipe. This means that the smoke from the paper burning is extremely harmful.

Marijuana has been shown to cause immune system dysfunction, which could theoretically predispose individuals to cancer.

Research on the long-term effects of marijuana abuse indicates some changes in the brain, similar to those seen after long-term abuse of other major drugs.

A number of studies have shown an association between chronic marijuana use and increased rates of anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and schizophrenia.

Once again, I have to ask myself, ‘where does one find such low IQ folks to run a country?’ Anyone with half a brain knows that smoking marijuana is extremely harmful and dangerous.
