After debuting to a great success this year as the warm-up party to the famed reggae festival in Tauranga, Good Vibes is hitting the road this winter.

Presented by Mai FM and Pato Entertainment, the Good Vibes Winter Tour will feature some of Aotearoa's most loved acts, including Katchafire, L.A.B, Tomorrow People and 1814, alongside international acts Josh Wawa, LaTasha Lee and local rising star Lion Rezz.

Teen sensation General Fiyah and international reggae stars Paua, will perform in Napier as special guests.

In a statement issued by Pato Entertainment it says discounted earlybird tickets will go on sale Wednesday April 24 at 7pm. Tickets will be available from www.goodvibesfestival.co.nz.

'The A-list line-up will be taking Good Vibes to Pettigrew Arena in Napier on July 13, Gisborne Showgrounds on July 26, Baypark Arena in Tauranga on July 27, Logan Campbell in Auckland on August 2, Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua on August 3, The Factory in Hamilton on August 9, and the South Waikato Events Centre in Tokoroa on August 10.

Katchafire:

Katchafire have built a name and reputation for themselves like no other reggae band. After releasing their fifth album LEGACY in 2018, the album shot to number one on the New Zealand charts and number one on the USA iTunes reggae charts. The band have proven again and again that they are reggae royalty.

L.A.B:

L.A.B was founded by Stu and Brad Kora, two of the brothers from the already massive Kiwi band, Kora. They have become a fan favourite and continue to make a name for themselves with their exciting live show. With a combination of Reggae, Blues, Rock and Funk, it's easy to see why L.A.B are so popular.

Tomorrow People:

Tomorrow People are a 7-piece reggae band originating from Wellington, who have become one of the country's best-loved reggae acts. The band have impressively moved their way up in the New Zealand music scene to become one of Aotearoa's most talked about artists with their albums ONE, BASS & BASSINETS and BBQ REGGAE all peaking at #1 on the NZ Music Chart.

LaTasha Lee:

LaTasha Lee is an American retro-soul who dazzled the audience at the One Love Festival earlier this year with her powerhouse vocal and soulful style.

A big admirer of Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, Lee offers songs, style and visuals celebrating the greats.

1814:

1814 are a legendary Kiwi reggae band who started in 2004 and have been making a name for themselves ever since. The 8-piece Whangaroa legends have opened up for international acts like Nas and Damien Marley. Their song ‘Jah Rastafari' has gained more than two million views on YouTube.

Josh Wawa:

Josh WaWa White comes from a strong Tongan family and was born and raised in Utah, where he currently resides.

White describes his singing style: 'I thought of two music artists, Bob Marley and Nate Dogg, and how it would sound to mix both of their voices.”

The Josh Wawa tracks ‘Love Da Way' featuring Billz and ‘I Think I'm Wrong' featuring the WhatItDo's very own Leta Fau'olo have had more than 1,000,000 hits on YouTube.

Lion Rezz:

Lion Rezz is a talented solo artist, as well as a member of the groundbreaking musical movement, Runtingz Family. This talented artist is all about combining the edgy grooves of reggae, with the charming melodies of R&B. Lion Rezz is known for his inspiring lyrics and amazing songwriting ability, inspired by artists as diverse as Stephen Marley, J Boog, as well as Ziggi Recado.

General Fiyah (Napier only):

Growing up in a musical family - his father and uncles make up the popular Kiwi band, Three Houses Down - General Fiyah has been singing from the age of one and released his first song, ‘Love and Affection', in 2016 as a feature with Three Houses Down. He is still only 12-years-old but has already had more than 2 million streams on his hit single, ‘Here To Stay', which also was a top 50 radio hit in New Zealand.

He has performed at the One Love festival twice and has toured in Australia and Hawaii.

Paua (Napier only):

Paua's music is a distinct blend of all of the sweet elements of reggae, soul and funk. Their high energy, feel-good live shows instantly captivate audiences from the first drum kick. They have a vibrant blend of creativity, pur musicianship and originality.

Originally formed in 2009, Paua now has two full-length albums, an EP, and several singles under their belt. They have topped the iTunes reggae charts in both Australia and New Zealand. The 7-piece band have played at the One Love festival several times and continue to draw in the massive crowds.

The 2019 Good Vibes Winter Tour features Katchafire, L.A.B, Tomorrow People, 1814, Lion Rezz, Latasha Lee (all shows except Napier), Josh Wawa (all shows except Napier), General Fiyah (Napier only), and Paua (Napier only).
