Te Puke Sports look to continue their winning ways when they host Rangataua in the fourth round of the Farmlands Co-operative Baywise Championship on Saturday.

Te Puke sports, who were the 2018 champions, go into the match at Murray Salt Stadium as favourites after an impressive 50-10 win over Greerton Marist last Saturday.

Rangataua will go into the match with confidence after their narrow 32-28 win against Arataki, however a Bay of Plenty rugby spokesperson says both Rangataua and Te Puke Sports play an exciting brand of rugby.

'Te Puke are a side who like to maintain possession, build pressure and capitalise on their opponent's mistakes.”

Rotorua side Whakarewarewa look to have a stronger start when they host Tauranga Sports at Puarenga Park.

The red and blacks were dominated by Te Puna, losing 52-26. Tauranga Sports also faced a loss, losing 24-19 to Mount Maunganui.

The Mount side host Greerton Marist at Blake Park, with both sides desperate for a win. Rotoiti will look to continue their winning formula at Emery Park when they host Te Puna. Rotoiti had a solid 27-15 win over Opotiki Sports last weekend.

The remaining matches in the premier division sees Te Teko hosting Arataki, and both sides look to turn their season around at Dunderdale Park after each suffering a loss last weekend.

Rangiuru are likely to be favourites when they travel to the Princess Street Reserve to take on Opotiki after Rangiuru had an emphatic 52-5 win over Te Teko last weekend.

All Development games kick-off at 1.00pm and all Premier games kick-off at 2.45pm.
