A woman has suffered leg injuries after falling on Motiti Island overnight.
A police spokesperson says they received a report of woman who had reportedly fallen at around 2.30am.
'Police were advised around 9am this morning that the woman had been rescued.
'She has been taken to hospital.”
The police spokesperson says coastguard, ambulance and a helicopter were also involved.
