Yes, we choose to own a private swimming pool. Our climate is conducive to family entertainment with a swimming pool, within our own surrounds.

Yes, we want them to be safe for our children and all users.

Andrew McMath states: 'This cost would otherwise have to be paid for by all ratepayers, including those who do not own pools.”

Council and ratepayers know that many people who pay rates do not use recreational areas such as cricket and rugby grounds, pools or parks that are already maintained, inspected and made safe by our Council.
