Passed away peacefully, January 1^st 2012, at Althorp Private Hospital with her family at her side, aged 91. Will be sadly missed by Harry and Yvonne Downs and Stephanie Pike (Mt Maunganui), her grandchildren Brenda and Wade Linnell (Matamata), Glen and Heather Downs (Rotorua), Peter and Shelly Keene (Canada), Dennise and John Porter (Mt Maunganui), Patrick and Amanda Ilton (Cambridge) and Shaun Ilton (Perth). Her many great grandchildren will miss her cuddles – Necia, Jessica, Danielle, Rhys, Callum, Emma, Arianna, Ashlyn, Bryce, Chris, Oliver, Jessie, Alidia and Tayla. We can never thank the beautiful people at Althorp enough for the love and respect they showed Joan. At Joan's request, a private cremation has been held.
