No injuries have been reported following an armed bank robbery in the Bay of Plenty this morning.
Police were called a bank on Fletcher Ave, Kawerau at 9.08am.
A police spokesperson says initial reports indicate a male offender entered the bank armed with a weapon.
'He left the premises a short time later, making off with an amount of cash.
'No one was injured during the incident.
'Police are conducting area enquires and examining the scene.”
