Reports are coming in of a large police presence in Papamoa.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says there a police near the Golden Sands Primary School, on Golden Sands Drive.
'There is fire and police dogs there as well.”
People have taken to social media commenting about police in the area.
