UPDATED 11.30AM: Police say no one was injured in a three car crash on the Tauranga Harbour Bridge.

Emergency services were called to the crash, which blocked the outside lane heading towards Mount Maunganui, at 10.50am.

'It was a three car nose to tail on Tauranga Harbour Bridge, near Hewletts Road,” says a police spokesperson.

'No one injured but one car needs to be towed.”

Reports are coming in of a crash on the Tauranga Harbour Bridge.

A SunLive reader has contacted us on Facebook to say two cars have crashed in the lane heading towards Mount Maunganui.

"The outside lane is blocked.

"People should expect delays."
