Power is reported to be out to a handful of properties in Katikati this morning.
According to Powerco, 28 properties are affected by the outage.
The supply went down around 4am and is expected to be back on around 9am, possibly sooner.
Meanwhile, 291 properties are also without power in Morrinsville.
This is the second power outage in the Western Bay in the last 12 hours. Homes in Omanawa were without power for a time overnight.
