Morning sunners. That MetService is forecasting a few shower to Tauranga today, with a high of 25 degrees.

But don't let the prospect of rain but a damper on your spirits, as there are plenty of things to do today.

There is the Model Train Exhibition at Mount Maunganui College from 10am to 4pm.

Adults are $7, children under 12 are $3 and a family pass is $15. Tickets are available at the door.

And for those who love the sight, sound and smell of cars, the D1NZ National Drifting Competition is taking part at Trustpower Baypark today. Read more here.
