One person has received moderate injuries following a reported stabbing in Edgecumbe.

A police media spokesperson says the incident took place yesterday.

'Police were called to an incident on College Road, Edgecumbe at 6.52pm yesterday.

'One person was reported to have received moderate injuries and taken to hospital.”
