The family of a British woman are reaching out to people in New Zealand to help find the 22-year-old.

Grace Millane has not been in contact with her family for about five days, and they say this is out of character for her.

Grace had been in contact with her family everyday and concerns were raised when she didn't respond to birthday messages on Sunday.

She arrived in New Zealand two weeks ago.

In a post on Facebook, her older brother Michael Millane said she has not returned to her hostel room in Auckland New Zealand and family members have had no contact since Saturday December 1.

She was last seen in Auckland.

Any sightings of Grace can either be reported to the nearest police station.
