Good Morning SunLive readers and welcome back to another Sunday.
As most of you are probably aware, it has been raining a lot overnight, so please be careful if you are driving somewhere today. There is a lot of surface water out on the roads.
There is also a heavy rain watch put in place for the Bay of Plenty. More on that here:
Apart from rain, which I think is pretty obvious, there is also a chance of some thunderstorms today as well.
Your high for today will be 21 degrees with an overnight low of 13 degrees.
The Mount Maunganui Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon has been cancelled today because of the weather.
In a post on the event Facebook page, it says they are currently working with options to reschedule the event for a later date.
If the rain is making you go stir crazy inside, the Migrant Expo at Tauranga Boys' College is on today from 10am till 3pm.
The expo will showcase products, services and information from a wide range of commercial, civic, regulatory, emergency, social, sporting and other community organisations in the region.
