Man critically injured following police chase

The pursuit took place at 10.50pm.

A man in his 20s is in Waikato Hospital in critical condition after crashing while fleeing Police in Rotorua.

Around 10.50pm, Police attempted to stop the vehicle on Ford Road due to speed.

Maybe it's sad this driver is now hospitalised, but had he stopped he would not be.
