A man involved in a stabbing earlier today in the Bay of Plenty, has been discharged from hospital.
The man was transported to Whakatane Hospital following an incident which happened just after 7am at a property on Waiotahe Valley Road, Waiotahe, near Opotiki.
The man was reported as being in a critical condition by police earlier today, however his discharge has been confirmed by a spokesperson for Bay of Plenty District Health Board.
'A 29-year-old male was treated and discharged this morning,” says a BOPDHB spokesperson.
