A person has been taken to Tauranga Hospital with minor injuries after their car rolled down a bank near Pyes Pa.

A police media spokesperson says the crash happened just before 7.30am.

'This was called in at 7.26am, one vehicle was involved.

'A car has gone down a bank and one person has minor injuries.”

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
