Lotto player celebrates $700,000 win

A Strike player from Porirua will be writing their wishlist after scooping the entire $700,000 jackpot in Wednesday night's Strike Must Be Won draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Pak N Save Porirua.

Meanwhile, two Lotto players from Auckland and Taupo will also be celebrating after each winning $500,000 with Lotto First Division in tonight's live Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold at PK Superette in Auckland and Whitcoulls Taupo in Taupo.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $6 million.

Lotto's Father's Day promotion is now underway. All Lotto Triple Dip tickets bought between Sunday 19 August and 7.30pm on Saturday 1 September are in the draw to win 30 extra prizes, including 10x Fords and 20x prizes of $10,000 cash.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
