The road to McLaren Falls is closed as police deal with an incident in the area.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says say people wanting to travel around the area need to use Omanawa Road.
A police spokesperson says they have had a couple of calls reporting suspicious activity in the area.
""We're currently responding but there are no further details at this stage."
