A four-year-old is in stable condition after being mauled by a dog.
The child was bitten by a dog at property in Morrinsville on Saturday.
A police spokesperson says the child suffered moderate to serious injuries, with wounds to his torso and shoulder.
The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter airlifted the boy to Waikato Hospital.
Animal control was called to the property to deal with the dog.

Dogs are another issue like the Meth problem.. Every one knows these problems need to be sorted, Half the population know the solution, but the authorities refuse to act , other than tinkering trying to appease the population . Get the problem sorted.. !!
