Police have concerns for 37-year-old Shannon Earle Makowharemahihi, who has been reported missing from his home address in Coromandel.

Shannon was last seen on June 1 and his disappearance is out of character.

He is possibly in a white 1995 Hiace van registration CNF338.

His family, friends and police are concerned about his safety.

Shannon is a very spiritual and private person who often goes into the bush to meditate.

He is 175cm tall and of thin build.
