February 2016 to October 2017. Heads up folks !!! They are the NEXT FIRE STARTER in YOUR HOUSE. The real question MUST be where was Ministry of Consumer Affairs in this little affair - They are SUPPOSED to be keeping a check on the stuff that is being sold to the public. AND if these BIG chain stores are flogging UNSAFE products, then what is going on from the small corner $2 shops.

OH and the advice is that you need to take it OFF the wall

to get at the rating label on the back of the heater control unit for the product identifiers above. NICE and for the - NO disrespect intended - little old man or lady that purchased one and go a friend to stick it on the wall, they now have to get it off the wall to see if it's a DUD. SORRY, if the product has been ID as a DUD and the purchaser has the purchase docket, between the dates in question, then it should be a SIMPLE matter of phoning the seller to report that you have the DUD product (between the dates in question), and the SELLER SHOULD BE REQUIRED BY LAW to: A) send a registered electrician to check the unit, and B) if its DUD, remove it, and replace it with a good product or refund the purchase price.
