A Katikati woman is in hospital with a suspected fractured pelvis after rolling a ride-on lawn mower.

The Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched at 4pm on Monday to Katikati, where a 38-year-old woman had rolled her ride-on mower.

'Fire Emergency NZ was also called to the scene to assist the woman, who had received suspected pelvis fractures,” says a spokesperson for the rescue helicopter.

'She was treated at the scene by paramedics, before being airlifted to Tauranga Hospital in a moderate condition.”
