Car crashes into power pole on SH2

UPDATE 6pm: A car has hit into a power pole on SH2 near the Te Puna roundabout.

Police and fire received reports of the crash at 5.25pm.

Police say the power pole was dislodged onto the car and oil has been spilt on the road.

"One person received minor injuries and some oil spilt on the road but it has been cleaned up," says a police spokesperson.

Powerco have been notified.

Traffic is moving slowly.

for any damage. The logging companies should pay for their damage too !
