Tragically on October 17, 2011 aged 59 years, as a result of an air accident. Dearly loved son of Betty and the late Ern Sloan (Mt Maunganui). Much loved father of Anna Clearwater and family (Balfour). A loved step-father of Wayne Candy (Perth). Dearly loved brother of Shona (Te Awamutu), and a loved uncle of Kathleen (Perth) and the late Sam. Will be missed by many, "Fly Free Ned." A service for Ned will be held at Baypark Function Centre, 81 Truman Road, Mt Maunganui on Tuesday 25th October at 1pm thereafter private cremation.
