UPDATED 12.05PM: A fire at a property in Tauriko is believed to be the cause of an unattended burn-off.
Greerton fire station officer Neil Brown says the fire occurred just after 11am.
'Police received a call about smoke in the area at about 11.20am.
'This spread to the fence then a shed on the property. Initial cause indicates this has happened from an unattended burn-off.
