A 39 year old Parkvale man arrested on charges of aggravated burglary and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm was arrested at Tauranga police station at noon on Tuesday.
The arrest related to an incident in Hampton Terrace, Merivale on January 21. The 39 year old was granted bail and will appear in Tauranga District Court on February 21.

An 18 year old labourer from Otumoetai was arrested at the Tauranga police station on Tuesday, charged with a theft in Willow Street on December 23rd.
At 2.08pm at the Tauranga police station a 17 year old student from Bellevue was charged with a burglary that took place in Brookfield on January 16.
A 42 year old man of unknown occupation was charged with common assault at 10.25pm.
At 11pm a 39 year old unemployed man was charged with shoplifting at Countdown on Cameron Road.
A 29 year old beneficiary was arrested at the intersection of Wilkinson and Fraser Streets at 11.20pm charged with male assaults female. He was also wanted on a warrant and will appear in court today.
At 4.10am a 35 year old unemployed man of no fixed abode was arrested in Turret Road charged with burglary.
