That the notion of kids reading to a dog at the Papamoa Library (‘Kids get wild about reading', page 7, The Weekend Sun, January 26) was not challenged seems to have taken political correctness to a new level.
What about the library users who do not like dogs, have allergies, or simply think public places should be neutral? There needs to be a push back against this sort of nonsense!
The ‘dog people' do not need any encouragement or they will be imposing their animals on the rest of us everywhere.
