Peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family after a long illness, on Saturday 8 October 2011, aged 78 years. Much loved husband of Ida for 55 years. Adored father and father-in-law of Gaylene and Graeme Bullock, Debbie and Tim Lawton, Raewyn and Don Candy, Leanne and the late Neil Lowery, and Vicki and Ian Kenny. Treasured Grandfather of Jeremy, Hayley, Ian, Cameron, Coralie, Daniel, Matthew, Grace and Brooke. Great Grandfather of Isabel. A celebration of Murray's life will be held at Tauranga Park, 383 Pyes Pa Rd, Tauranga on Wednesday 12th October at 11am, followed by burial at Pyes Pa Cemetery, 403 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga. In lieu of flowers donation preferred to Alzheimers Association.
