A boat overturned tipping four people into the water at Kaituna Cut, Maketu.
Police were notified at 5.50pm yesterday that the boat had flipped and contacted Maketu coastguard.
A police spokesperson says the coastguard responded quickly and brought them ashore, were they were then checked over by emergency services.
All four people were uninjured and were wearing life jackets.
