What do Tauranga gardeners and Goodwood have in common? Recycled wood.

Goodwood has developed a range of re-cycled wood products for gardeners, business and playground managers.

In the latest video produced for the Bay of Plenty Garden and Arts Festival, festival director Marc Anderson learns from Goodwood general manager Mike Fisher about how the new company is helping gardeners through recycling wood.

Goodwood has been in business for about two years as the result of a request by the Tauranga City Council to help reduce the 2500 tonnes of wood going to landfill.

The garden mulch encourages plant growth, suppresses weed growth, retains moisture and is carbon neutral, says Mike.
