Traffic is backed up after a crash on the Tauranga-bound lane of Turret Road.
A three-car crash is blocking the Tauranga-bound lane on Turret Road, between 15th Ave and the bridge.
Emergency services have responded to the accident and it appears that no one has been seriously hurt.

Not to bother fixing this road (4-laning) means that these incidents will gridlock that end of town for the next 20-30 years. Apparently no changes needed for that long.

or not watching, people need to learn once these noise to tail incidents happen just get you cars off the road instead of stopping in the middle of the road

Fully agree with you. People don't seem to realise that if their are no injuries the cars can be moved out of the way and drivers simply need to exchange insurance and address details. No need even for the police to be called and the road stays open.
