the Council should get rid of the gorse. Its a spreading weed.

Council only annoys private property owners, public lands are left to run riot with all kinds of weeds, the good, bad and ugly. So whatever the weeds are Council will ignore it, the fire brigade will put out the fire and the fire service levies get higher or the bill goes to Council who pay and your rates get still higher ... whatever no good result for anyone.
