The two little girls found wandering in Welcome Bay have been reunited with their parents.

Police say the parents are relieved to have the girls back.

Tauranga Police are appealing for information to return two lost little girls.

An appeal has been posted on the Bay of Plenty Police Facebook page after the little girls were found wandering on Oteki Park Drive in Welcome Bay.

"Tauranga Police are hoping to get help returning the two very young females located wandering on Oteki Park Drive, Welcome Bay. Names possibly Ali and Fenai," reads the post.
