The man charged with the murder of 22-year-old Chozyn Koroheke can now be named.
Turiarangi Tai, 22, appeared in the High Court at Auckland this morning in front of Justice Simon Moore.
He pleaded not guilty through his lawyer to charges of murder and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Chozyn was fatally shot at close range on April 4 at an address in Pakuranga in what is believed to be a domestic incident.
Another woman charged with being an accessory appeared alongside Tai in court and pleaded not guilty.
She was granted interim name suppression.
A trial date has been set down for March next year.
