It seems people are getting a bit light fingered with yet another theft from in the Mount Maunganui area.

Police are appealing for information about a kayak stolen from a Mount Maunganui property on November 21.

The kayak is described as a Malibu kayak, black and white and a single seater.

Police say one of the rope handles may have been cut.

Anyone with information about the kayak is asked to contact the Police Maritime Unit on 0800 102 835 and quote the file number: 161122/2503.

Meanwhile, the owner of a pizza oven stolen from on Friday night is still appealing for information that will lead to its return.
