Parts of two roads in the Thames CBD will be closed to allow for routine wastewater maintenance on Richmond Street on Monday.

Mackay Street between Sealey and Willoughby streets, and Richmond Street between Pollen and Rolleston street will be closed from 9pm-12am.

Thames-Coromandel District Council says detours will be in place along Sealey, Willoughby, Pollen and Rolleston streets.

The works will see contractors carry out wastewater and mains cleaning, as well as any necessary maintenance works.
