Canterbury Police are looking for a high risk offender who is in breach of his parole conditions.

On August 16, 48-year-old Nigel Robert Gately went missing from a St Albans address.

His whereabouts are currently unknown, says Detective Sergeant Chris Power..

Police believe Gately is travelling in a purple Ford Falcon registration CKT152.

Gately has convictions for rape, assault with intent to commit rape and abduction for sex.

Gately is described as being 6' 1” tall, he has blonde/grey hair, blue eyes and is of fat/solid build.

Police ask anyone who sees Gately to call 111 immediately.
