8.6.1934 – 6.8.2016. Passed away after a short illness at Waipuna Hospice, surrounded by her family. ‘An amazing, strong lady who fought so hard.' Loved wife of the late Robert. Loved mother and mother in law of Stephen, Peter and Trudy, Barb and Steve, and Jenny. Special Nana of Reece and Rachel, Briar-Rose, Morgan, Grayson, Joshua, Alex, Sarah, and Logan. Great Nana of Piper, and Jayden. According to Barbara's wishes a private service has been held. The family would like to thank all the staff at Tauranga Hospital especially the nurses and doctors in the Orthopaedic Ward who looked after Mum, and all the staff at Waipuna Hospice for their care.
