(Betty) (formerly Te Arihi, formerly Maihi, nee Tamihana). Passed away peacefully at Radius Althorp, Ruben Home on 9 August 2016. Beloved daughter of the late Emma Ngatohanga (formerly Kahotea, nee Warrel) and Wharetaka Tamihana. Much loved sister of the late Te Whataarangi, Ingati, Kare, Hine and Tammy, and Winston and Hine. Cherished mother of Mohi, Uta, Teddy, Gary, Louise, Eileen, Robert, Heke and Tahi. Dearly loved nana to many mokopuna. Betty's family would like to acknowledge the staff at Radius Althorp for their wonderful care and aroha shown to Betty over the last 14 years.
