A woman was airlifted to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition following a fall at Onemana Beach on Monday.
Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter trust spokesperson Kerrie Spicer says the woman, who is in her 20's, suffered a head contusion and foot injury after falling heavily while descending a steep path to the beach at about 10am.

'The crew of W2…landed on the beach to treat the patient and she was flown to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition,” says Kerrie.
It was the only mission flown by the rescue helicopter trust on Monday.
