On 27 July 2016, Denis passed away at Waipuna Hospice Tauranga, in his 76^th year. Dearly loved and cherished husband of Careen. Loved father and father-in-law of Sarah and Sean (Ft Lauderdale USA), Rachel and Sam (Havelock North). Loved and respected ‘Denis' of Ryan and Janette (Dublin), Joanna and Freddie (Raglan), Bronwyn and Bevan (Gisborne). Loved grandy to James, grandpa to Eden and Matthew, grandad to Daniel, Matthew, Georgia, Isaac, Isla, Jayden and Reefe. A private service has been held.
