Tauranga Lotto players may not have struck the big one last night but one resident is nearly $20,000 better off after winning second division.
Fifty one Kiwi Lotto players from around the country shared the second division prize each winning $19,499 in last night's draw.
The winning ticket was purchased at Paper Plus Mt Maunganui. Three other Bay of Plenty winners are also more than $19,000 better off with two Rotorua winners (New World Westend and My Lotto) and Opotiki (Opotiki New World) also striking the division two prize.
There was also a winner from Te Aroha who purchased their ticket from the Te Aroha Four Square.
Te Awamutu, Dunedin and Hamilton Lotto players shared last night's main prize each taking home $13.3 million of the record $40 million Powerball jackpot.
The winning tickets were sold at Oparau Roadhouse in Te Awamutu, Pak N Save Dunedin and on MyLotto to a player from Hamilton.
Due to phenomenal draw sales, Strike Four also reached a Must Be Won draw tonight. The jackpot was won by two lucky players in Auckland and Waipapa who both won Strike Four to take home $405,792 each.
The winning Strike tickets were sold at Farmcove Superette in Auckland and Waipapa Dairy in Waipapa.
Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ ticket-checker app.
