Crusader fans remember their hero

When the Chiefs square off against the Crusaders tonight, Tania Cochrane will be thinking of the biggest Crusaders fan she knew – her husband, Stephen.
Stephen Cochrane died in the Christchurch earthquake after ushering his colleagues out of a work site to safety. A concrete block wall fell and crushed him.

Tania and her 10-year-old daughter Kylie-Marie are two of the group of 180 Christchurch residents in Tauranga for the 10 Days in Tauranga holiday, organised by Tauranga City Council and MP Simon Bridges.
Both are heading to Baypark tonight to watch the Chiefs play the Crusaders, dressed from head to toe in black and red.
Tania says the family are massive Crusaders supporters and she cannot wait to see them play at Baypark.
She is going to try to get Crusaders players to sign a few things which belonged to Stephen.
'We're trying to live his dream,” says Tania.
'He's our hero, he'll always be our hero.”
Tania says Stephen would have loved all the things her and Kylie Marie have been doing in Tauranga, which she says has been a fantastic experience.
'The people around here have just been so lovely,” says Tania.
The game at Baypark tonight kicks off at 7.35pm with All Blacks captain Richie McCaw making his first appearance of the year on the bench for the Crusaders.
It is the first Super 15 game to be played in Tauranga this season.
